Lake Country Echo

Lake Country Echo

The Lake Country Echo newspaper was first published in 1972. Since that time, the Echo has become well-known locally and statewide as an award-winning newspaper.

The Echo, with a circulation of 4,625 serves the communities of Pequot Lakes, Minn., where its home offices are located, and Nisswa, Lake Shore, East Gull Lake, Merrifield, Breezy Point, Crosslake, Fifty Lakes, Emily, Jenkins and Pine River. Between those communities are many townships and neighborhoods which rely on the Echo for weekly news and information.

Morris Communications acquired the Lake Country Echo in February 1999.
