Morris Publishing owns and operates 13 daily newspapers as well as nondaily newspapers, city magazines and free community publications in the Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and Alaska.
Our daily newspapers are geographically diverse, primarily serving mid-sized to small communities in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Kansas, Minnesota, Alaska, Arkansas and South Carolina. The majority of our daily newspapers have no significant competition from other local daily newspapers in their respective communities.

In 2003, Morris acquired Skirt! Magazine, a Charleston, S.C.,-based monthly magazine for women that has successfully attracted readers with its edgy and elegant content. Skirt! magazines are also located in Augusta, Ga., Savannah, Ga., Jacksonville, Fla., Charlotte, N.C., and Columbia, S.C.
