PUBLISHER NAMED IN PITTSBURG, KAN.
Augusta, Ga. - Stephen M. Wade
has been named publisher of The Morning Sun, Pittsburg,
Kan., a daily newspaper in the Western Publishing Group of Morris
Communications. Wade succeeds Cindy Allen who resigned the post
last month. His appointment is effective Sept. 18, 2002.
Wade was most recently director of operations at The Topeka
Capital-Journal, a position he had held since 1998. Prior
to that, he served in several management positions, including
systems administrator, since joining the newspaper in 1993.
Wade holds a degree in journalism from the University of Kansas.
